With the Galaxy Pro Samsung now have a new Android Smartphone including the QWERTY keyboard presented. A tribute to the fixed keyboard is the comparatively small screen size. (Lars Creamer, 03/07/2011)
With the Galaxy Pro Samsung will soon offer another Smartphone the Galaxy series. To the previously known technical details in addition to a 2.8-inch display (480 x 320 pixels) also includes a QWERTY keyboard. Under the hood is working for current information, an 800-MHz processor. To the storage facilities so far nothing is known. Presumably, the Galaxy Pro is more aimed at business customers, here is battery life and quick text input more important than huge displays and gaming performance.
The remaining facilities are mediocre Smartphone, so the device will have a camera with three megapixels, as a data interface has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Galaxy Pro will come with Android 2.2 to the market and be extended with Touch wiz 3.0. An update to 2.3 is announced but not yet, but will probably follow anyway. A price has also not yet known.
